Custom trunkwell ported sub box for 2 10's SUPER LOUD Chicagoland $100
Custom built ported subwoofer box for 2 10" subwoofers. Built by me, this fits into the trunkwell under the hatch & fits the contours in there. The port faces up and with a pair of Kenwood 10"s and my ~15 year old 200W Sherwood amp (remember them?) it was crisp, responsive, and MUCH louder than I could even stand.
When installed, it is roughly level with the forward portion of the trunk. It is still just bare wood since my car had the roll up sunshade, but can be painted or carpeted to match.
I can't seem to find the pictures of it in the car; I sold the car about 3 years ago but I do have pictures of it by itself that I can e-mail. Better yet, if you're local to Lemont, come by and I can show you how it fits in your car. Local pickup is preferred; I can ship it at buyers expense, but it will be a $big box$.
