Trunk pull-down

Anyone have a rear deck lid pull-down assembly? My car has the latch, but it has been bolted together. I don't know how many parts are missing, but I think all the wiring is there. Need it shipped to CA. (SF Bay Area)

Find a member of this site named Lonsal. Or you can go to his web site, he sells the pull down units and repair kits. He has a ink to his site on the web page somewhere on the right of your screen. TDS - TOP DOWN SOLUTIONS. I bought a rebuild kit for mine and it works awesome now!

Thanks, Techno, I checked out his ad on this page, quite pricey. My core would be no good, so it would be even more so. Think I'll look for a good used one.

Yes, definitely interested..... What is all that green colored material all over it? That's not corrosion, is it?

Nope - it's not corrosion !! That 'green stuff' is actually blue,....... It's just the lubricant / grease they used at the factory.

Thanks, Mike, for the reference to Modern Day Muscle, I have ordered some interior trim parts from them!! Still working on the pull-down, though. You're right about the prices, too.

FYI, someone has mis-labeled that pull-down unit. It is from a 1988-91 F-body, not a 1992. This one has a metal frame, which was used from 1986-early model year 1991. It also has the small black connector on the blue wire which is just one feature to easily distinguish it from the 1986-87 which had a larger white connector on that wire.

Yup,....... I did

The Vin code shows an 'M'. All 4 of the pull down motors I have availible are this same style with a blue wire and a black connector. ( The pull down in my 87 has a White connector on the blue wire. ) None of them have the optional hatch 'release' soleniod installed.
