removing choke light & buzzer

how do i disable the buzzer for the choke light? where is it located? Also, does the horn button just pop off with a screwdriver? If not, how does it come off?

Re: removing choke light & buzzer

There isn't a buzzer for the choke. Any noise is coming from the choke relay, and is a sign that there's something wrong with your choke circuit.

Re: removing choke light & buzzer

oh... so where is the choke relay, and how do i identify it? It sounds like the noise is coming from near the choke light, or from inside the dash, and it starts when the choke light comes on.

Check the choke heater fuse.

Re: removing choke light & buzzer

i don't have a choke on my car, so even if this is only because a fuse is blown, I would still like to know how remove the relay.
