Dumb question but it must be asked
Ok i know this is the dumbest question off all dumb questions for gauges but how on gods beautiful green earth do you pull out the gauges or gauge cluster for the speedo and the rest of the gauges? this is driving me crazy i;ve tryed numorous times and i couldnt figure it out. Im trying to swap out my oil pressure gauge, temp gauge and redo my whole speedo cable and possibly redo the entire setup in the near future. Thanks for any and all help

once you remove all screws the speedo should have a clip behind it use a long flat screwdriver to push clip foward speedo cable should slide out. as far as gauges go they should interchange except the tach/oil gauge are diff. on 6cyl oil gauge reads 80lbs v8 reads 60lbs.the tachs are diff.

BTW, you can access the gauges from the front of the cluster without cluster removal. Remove the plastic bezel, the metal bezel, and the lens. The gauges are held in place with a screw of two. Remove them and simply pull the gauge in question toward you.
