light on underside of dash pad

I need to remove this light to fix it, do not want to break the mounting tabs - anyone got any tips how to get it out successfully? This is the light on the underside of the dash pad over the radio/vent controls. Thanks.

You mean under the gauge panel cover? That's where mine is.

I don't see a way to reach the bulb simply from underneath.....You'll hafta take the long gauge cover off, to get inside to reach that bulb.

3 screws up into the bottom of the dash pad, 3 screws from underneath, then the 1 on the far right, to reach the 1 into the "foot" that sticks out sideways.

If it's a camaro, you need to remove the dash pad to get to it.
