Needin info on floor mats

HELP...I'm looking for anyone who has purchased floor mats for their third Gen, and like what they bought. I'm looking for well fitted carpet mats for my 85 Iroc. The ones that were in the car when I bought it are cheapies that you'd find at any part shop. In reading threads I've found that most 3rd gen owners weren't to happy with what they ordered. Suggestions or links? Thank you in advance-

Re: Needin info on floor mats

I bought chevy bowtie floor mats and they have worked pretty good. I just recently went to the salvage yard and bought new carpeting and it had the stock floor mats with it.

Where did you get the Chevy Bowtie mats? Talk about luck, originals still in the car? Thanks for responding.

Re: Needin info on floor mats

Year One or Classic Industries should have floor mats that are 3rd gen specific and can be bowtie embroidered.

Lloyds floor mats are very nice. Get dirty very easy though. But, they are beautiful

Bought mine from 1A Auto that are made for 3rd gen cars. Mine have the Z28 Logo but others are available. Fit, non-side backing and weight of carpet are very good.

Re: Needin info on floor mats

The lloyds are nice quality and big, less prone to move around. They also come with things you can screw into the carpet to keep the rear corners in place. I got mind embroidered with the bird and its a nice touch.

Can see a bit here-

Go here and click on "Custom Embroidered Floor Mats". High Quality and reasonable cost:
http://www.carmotorsports.com/

You can even design what you want.

84Elky...you are Da Man! carmotorsports has exactly what I was looking for. I have grey interior w/ black dash and console. I'm thinking black floor mats with grey edging and white and red IROC in the center...what do you guys think? Thanks for all your responses.

I had that color for few years and did not like them. So I went with the light grey.

You have those installed on the wrong side. The passenger mat is cut on the top left side for the drivers side stationary pedal.

They have been swichted since the pictures were taken. The picture was to show the color and NOT the position. Thanks for your advice which I didn't need.

Re: Needin info on floor mats

DJP87Z28, those are pretty much what I'm fixin to order. Why didn't you like 'em? Did you get sick of the contrast, they look dirty easier/quicker or just want them to match the interior? Thank you

All of the above, but most of all I wanted to lighten the interior up some.

Not sure how to take this! I'm interpreting it as sarcasm, which like you, I don't need. Just trying to help out.

Re: Needin info on floor mats

I described my interior as grey, however, it's like a grey/light blue? Does anyone know what color Chevy called this?

It's closer to grey than blue, but it's noticeable. Thank you for responding.
