Re: Old window tint
iv heard of some putting an amounia solution on( dont quote me on that as idk what it is) and putting a trashbag ontop of that thats covering the tint then close the car up( windows up, hatch closed, t tops on ect) and letting it sit in the sun for a few hours to the bag can grab the tint then just pull the trashbag off and walla!

Re: Old window tint
You can spray some Windex(with ammonia) on it and cover it with Saran Wrap.
The ammonia will soften the adhesive and you can use a soft scrub brush.
It's gonna take some time and patience.

Re: Old window tint
heat guns work but its alot longer and you risk damaging the defroster grid in process. the bag trick, or the wrap trick works the best and the fastest

Re: Old window tint
I took my whole hatch off and turned it upside down on the ground. I scraped off the loose stuff, sprayed it with windex, then put black plastic over it to heat it up.
After I got all of the film off, the sticky adhesive was still there, so I used some Goof-Off and paper towels for that.
