Hawks or Other for Interior?
ok guys and girls, it's time for me to start thinking about the vinyl interior that I'm going to order for my 87 IROC. I've searched and found a few old threads about Hawks and the reviews / pics didn't impress me; however, these threads were quite old. Does anyone have any recent experience / maybe some pictures of vinyl seats / door panels from Hawks (or elsewhere)?
Other recommendations?
Cheers

Re: Hawks or Other for Interior?
I dealt with Hawks for my headliner, carpet and seat covers. Pretty easy to work with and they are willing to do custom work if you call them and set it up. However, be VERY specific with your details on your custom work, maybe to the point of even sending them pictures with labels of where you want the colors. The seat covers I got did not match what I thought I described and since they were custom I could not return them. Luckily they still looked good, it just wasn't what I had pictured. I got the material that closely matched the stock fabric (not vinyl or leather) so I can't comment on the vinyl quality but maybe someone else can help you with that. As far as the fabric stuff goes though it seemed pretty tough and looked great. I would think that they would have the same requirements in quality for their vinyl seats as well.
Hope this helps.
