C5 Shift ****
I was looking at stock C5 shift ***** (specifically Z06) and noticed they are the tapered kind rather than a ball. Will they fit a 4th Gen B&M shifter? I imagine if one **** fits an aftermarket T56 shifter they fit all 4th Gen shifters. I like tapered shift ***** better than the ball type. I currently have a stock leather 4th Gen shift ball and it feels like I'm grabbing a baseball every time. I'm fine with using an adapter.

I think the C5 Corvette uses a 9/16"-18 UNF thread.
F-body uses M16-1.5
There isn't much available for our weird thread size. The SLP Camaro SS ***** are pretty nice. You can get a good look at it in Post #1451, https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...ml#post6386391
MGW shifter has a removable shift handle and you can buy it in M16 or M12, or just have your own turned on a lathe.

Blainfab makes tall handles if that's the style you like.

My god, they're $150-200. Are they always this much or did they shoot up due to COVID? I'll hold off for a bit to see if market conditions improve. Seems like they were only $100 less than a month ago.

I went with a C6 Z06 carbon edition ****. inside is plastic and just had to run a tap and thread it.

Re: C5 Shift ****
Well the SLP shift ***** kept going up with the latest ones having a BIN of $300 (NOS). I picked up a lightly used leather Hurst logo **** of the same design for $90 about a month ago. That also seems like a lot considering these things used to be ~$40 but in today's market seems like a deal. In the past I'd feel stupid putting a Hurst **** on a B&M shifter but now that they're the same company I don't care.
