T-Tops ABS headliner

T-Tops ABS headliner
Hi everyone!! I have read some threads about ABS T-Tops headliner and everyone talks about some brands like A1, Hawks, Classic Industries, PUI...
Some say that it fits ok, other say that since the mold was taken from the inside the fit is horrible, and some say that it fits perfectly! But don't know which one fits perfectly... And those are threads posted 10, 12 years ago... So maybe they got better... Or worse...
So I got an 88 IROC and I went and took down my headliner to get some fresh material on it, but OMG it was garbage, I tried to give it some shape with fiberglass, but it is beyond my talents, at least I tried... So I'm going to buy an ABS replica, Wich one do you recommend ?
Thank you!!
RIP

I bought the Hawks one a few months ago for the 89 IROC I fixed up. It was overall good, except the very rear edge appeared wobbly next to that rear upper plastic panel that holds it up. It had a few gaps along there that i didn't like. But as long as you weren't looking behind you from the driver's seat, it looked really good.

Thanks!! I just bought one from CARiD. I just find the company that makes the headliner, it's called ACME (http://www.acmeautoheadlining.com/onlinevenders.html), and went one by one the online vendors page to find the cheapest
They sell the same product to Hawks, 1A Auto, Camaro Central, CARiD etc.
The shipping cost on some of them are just a joke
so I went for CARiD's
I will tell you how it goes

Re: T-Tops ABS headliner
In my experience ACME makes most if not all replacement ABS headliners.
Yea the fit is sorta **** poor but most of us have no choice.
Best off shopping for lowest on price and shipping.
I paid $150 shipped a few years back and it still looks good.
SURE.......The purists and driveway queen folks here rag and cry about them
so just ignore their comments and buy what you want.

Re: T-Tops ABS headliner
I picked up one from Hawks last December and just recently got time to install it. I had purchased one several years ago from Third gen Resource/F body motorsports so I knew about the fitment issues. The first one fit decent so apparently they have improved their molds as this new one actually fit really well. The only issue I had was at the upper seatbelt retractors. I've got 4th gen seatbelts installed so it took a little finesse but it still fit really well.
