Car: 91 Z28
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
LS swap engine and F body parts
Hey guys, I have decided to stick with the old school TPI. I had been piling up parts to do the LS swap, but found a new project (69 C20 truck) and just don't think I'll use the LS engine in it either. Everything is + shipping- except engine of course. Engine stand not included.
02 5.3 engine with 120K (a few coils are broken but I have the brackets and I think 6 good ones) $600
fbody oil pan $160
LS1 intake and throttle body $160
V6 wiring harness from 91 firebird (Pocket says this is what 91-92 cars would need to mate with the LS harness instead of cutting up a good TPI harness) $110

This is the engine harness, plugs in to computer under dash and would be mated with an LS harness to seamlessly mate LS with the rest of the car. Fogs would be part of a different harness I believe, I didn't unplug any lights when removing this harness. Camaro/firebird same thing- both fbody.

The fog lights are on a different harness. It is for the air bag, horns and all the lights on the front of your car. That harness plugs into the bulkhead on your firewall beside your engine harness. It's the smaller of the two. Hope this is helpful.

I thought it was all on big harness? Where does it spit apart at? I just pulled mine out as one big harness

Don't you need other side for the swap ? When prepping thirdgen harness

What side are you talking about? One is for your lights (the smaller one) and the other is your engine (the one that gets modified for the LS). The smaller one has nothing to do with the conversion.
