It was beautiful, that sense of accomplishment after months of money saving and hard work. She just popped right off like that LT1 was meant to be there. Thanks everyone for all your help. Hours and hours of reading all your posts truly helped me prepare for the swap. Here are a few pics of the swap... I didn't take any of tonights getting it started, but i will put some up just as soon i take them.

Gettin better! looken clean
Little more wires and some things... no big deal...

Isnt that the best feeling when it just pops right off. Mine did the same thing the first start. your engine bay looks great im getting ready to do the same thing here pretty soon. lets see some pics of you pcm mounted
Thanks alot guys! I was hoping someone would like that engine bay.. We stripped it down and had it sand blasted. I know it all costs money, but I was set on wanting that engine bay spotless. sadly the rest of the car is not painted yet.. i just got a little motor crazy there for a while, I had to hear it start.. once we get the loose ends tied up in the engine bay, then its back to the paint! Hopefully this weekend will give me some time to clean it up some and then I'll get some good pics.
Thanks to joe and elec, couldn't have done it without ya.
Beautiful paint on the engine bay. If you pay as much attention to detail on the car as you are to the engine and engine bay it'll be a show stopper for sure... NICE
Man it looks awesome. I just picked up another camaro so I will be doing the same man. Take it all apart and work on it piece by piece. Good luck with the ride man she is looking great.

Thanks guys, its always nice to know that there are other people out there that care about these cars like i do... my buddys are all 4th gen owners and they always give me crap about my "Tirdgen" as they call it!
I love this car. don't get me wrong. This car and I have a bond that could not be replaced. but as always when the time comes, we must move on to bigger and better things. I have a dream for an lt1 stroker in my 91 and I'm ready to make that dream come true.
