Shift cable for '94 4L60E

Car: 55 chevy Belair & 86IROC Z
Engine: 350 in 55 86IROC Z LT1
Transmission: 55 4speed IROC Z4L60e
Axle/Gears: 12 bolt 410 in55 and 342 inCamaro
Shift cable for '94 4L60E
94 lt1 with 4L60E what shiter cabel would work here I using the 700r 86 cabel and it seem to be 1/4 of inch too short when I put in park it in reverse and would adding 1/4 to the cabel on the bottom work meaning make a little brakett to fit giving the 1/4 it needs to be in( Park)? are use a defferent cabel what year? thanks for your help didnt how post this

Stock 3rd gen cable, remember to take the little shifter arm off the old 700R4
If it's still not lined up, try slotting the bracket holes before attempting to modify the cable
Externally, 700R4, 4L60 and early 4L60E's are nearly identical. Same pan, same mounting pattern. Same location for the gear select shaft. Using the 3rd gen cable, bracket and arm should put the cable in the stock location
