plastic 4th gen tank, left charcoal canister on, basically all I hooked up was the fuel supply and return, left everything else alone.
Always have had to watch how fast I pump fuel or it comes up the filler neck... Don't drive the car too often so I put up with it.

Last time I filled the car (last time I drove it as well, over a month ago) I filled up, while I was inside paying someone let me know there was a fair amount of fuel coming from the car... Was coming from the tank on the passenger side, but the ground was sloped to that side... I drove home, parked it and haven't had time to look at it.
Moved the car last week and there was a small puddle of fuel under the filler neck.

So I'm thinking maybe I have a leak at the filler hose to tank attachment? As far as I can remember I used fuel rated hose for the filler. The reason fuel came from passenger side at the gas station was the slope of the ground, the fuel ran across the heat shield to the passenger side. Since the tank is still filled to the brim, the fuel level is over the bottom of the filler nipple on the tank and is why there was a leak sitting in the garage?

With the car running, there doesn't appear to be any fuel leaking. I used the screw in type fittings from the sender to braided hoses. No signs of any leaks anywhere else.
Car is currently off the road due to needing a couple things (and I've been way too busy) but the idea of lowering a FULL tank is not appealing.

Anything else I should be looking for? And any ideas on how to make it so I can fill the thing at a normal speed?

I have the same problem. I believe it could be from the fuel sender gasket not seated properly. I have reseated it since but Im still scared so I only put 13 gallons in at a time lol.
