Re: my $450 iroc-z
thats sharp I can only hope my 91 rs turns out that good, and I paid 1000 for it with a slung rod in a 305.I can't see any flaws in the pictures, I'm impressed, I'm also curious about how much you sank in this thing before you got it to this point.

Re: my $450 iroc-z
I keep looking at that first picture. That sure is a sharp car. I wish my '89 was that color scheme. Mine was a hardtop and was that Flame Red Metallic color with the gold accents and the 15" gold wheels. I really like the red and silver with those wheels. Looks stunning

Re: my $450 iroc-z
It's hard to tell from the pictures, but what kind of shape is the paint/body in? It looks like a pretty new paint job (although that's probably not the case since you said it was oxidized).
This is basically my gf's car but with silver accents and grey interior instead of gold accents and peanut butter interior.

Re: my $450 iroc-z
the paint by all means is not perfect..it still has some oxidized left which i cant get it out by hand, have to get a buffer or something.the front bumper has some scraps and the passenger door have a winkle i guess that what u call it.anyways a owner before me was drunk and hit a mail box lol that why i took pic of the driver sidebut it still dont look that bad..since i spill the beans guess i have to show a picture of it now...

MONEY WELL SPENT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish i can find deals like that, or even close to that on thirdgens...people are selling crappy cars, for mroe than 2 or 3 k...not even close to the condition of that car. Running or not, i'd buy that iroc for more than 450. Have fun with your New ride

Man I think even with the door being all dinged up you still would have got a good deal on it for $1,200. How many miles are on it?

Re: my $450 iroc-z
Sounds like a great car. I'd suggest a new paint job rather than sanding and clear coating over the old stuff. You want to sand it down and put more color on because a lot of the time the color gets screwed up when the paint gets oxidized that badly. I had some bad oxidation on my hood on my Z and a body shop told me it wasn't worth the hassle to just clear coat over it.
