I once heard that modifying cars was done best when the car passed by, and you knew it wasn't quite stock, but the common bystander wouldn't be able to quite pick out what was modified. Maybe wheels that aren't quite stock, but sure look like they belong on the car, or it lowered just enough to reduce wheel well gaps, but not enough to look slammed.
And yeah, I know we don't all follow that perfectly, sometimes we need cowl hoods, or something, but it still looks like it fits (heck, the quote was from Chip Foose). But this... this is just bad.
