Re: How to make my car look better.
Hood then call it good!(4th gen ss hood) keep it simple, the back end in my opinion looks the best just the way it is. No extra decals or badges. And i would paint the area around the headlights (black).

Do not get a wing.
Black buckets,Clear side markers,SS hood is a great idea.
Wheels are awesome. Wish you could get rid of the front plate :\

Re: How to make my car look better.
Clear side markers. Then you're done.
Normally, I say headlight buckets should ALWAYS be black, but this car just looks good with white buckets.
Get an IROC hood if you MUST have a hood, if you want to get a cowl, get the Harwood. I don't like any of the scoop hoods at all (especially the ones with scoops taken right off of the fourth gens. Blech.) but if you wanted to do something unique, you could fab a shaker scoop on there. It'd look killer in flat or gloss black on that white car.
Edit: And a set of crystal front markers. That'd complete the car. Everything else you can dump in engine goodies.

I must conform... black headlight buckets and a 90-92 Z hood with the blisters... leave the IROC hoods for the IROCs... other then that it looks amazing even if you do nothing it looks great. The C6 wheels look awesome aon the car. I just saw people doing this today and I must say... WOW. I have a 89 IROC and an 07 Corvette, will my wheels from the Corvette fit under the IROC? The factory C6 sizes at 18 front and 19 rear... Not sure if that will work. I know the IROC wheels won't fit over the brakes ont he Corvette... just thinking of maybe doing the swap one day for the heck of it... Two cars I am talking about...
These wheels:

Oh... and I guess I should be more concerned about width and clearences and stuff.... the tires are are like F:245-18/R: 285-19...

Re: How to make my car look better.
jrhaus: You'll need spacers to run the c6 rims on the Iroc, & yes the Iroc rims will NOT fit on the vette.
Keeslinger: If you wanna keep the white theme put on a White Z28 Anniversary grill wich comes white & a C5 or C6 brake upgrade.

I guess not a swap, just putting the C6 wheels on the IROC and leaving the Vette on jack stands for the day and running adound with the wheels on the IROC but if you need spacers, which makes sence, I will not be doing it. Thanks!

Re: How to make my car look better.
Thanks for the replies Can someone photoshop a pic with the blackheadlight buckets? I cant get rid of the plate missouri law no need to attract any more attention. And i think a iroc hood would look good i have been searching craigslist and found one for 50 bucks but the guy didnt answer his phone. . i wass messing with the turn signals last night and put some leftover tint over them it looks good for a temporary but i was thinking maybe i could paint them with the spray tint and do that to the rear turn signal too?
a quicky what do you think
And another WIth the black in the back

Re: How to make my car look better.
The pockets look much better as do the marker lights but don't black out the rears unless you do the entire light. Maybe that was your intent but it seems fromt he pic it was only the rear amber turn signal.

If your up to suggestions.....I would put the clear side marker lights and directionals, and LOWER the car....get a set of Eibach 1" progressive rate springs....then....well the list can go on and on and on and on

I think the amber on the tail lights looks great! dont f with the tail lights. Pokets look good. Good job wit the car, so far so good! 1 more option could be purchase tail light covers im not sure who makes them (GTS)??? Then you always have the option to remove them to give a factory look again.

I think the 5" would be way louder than this car should be. It looks so clean the way it sits that I think a 5" spoiler could ruin the clean look.

You can fab a bracket to mount your plate from under your bumper & put it to the side instead of the middle. I would keep the hood flat, alot of after market hoods out there, it will look cleaner. Maybe some hash marks on the fenders like a GS Vette. in red though.

Orange heritage stripes, black head light pockets, 1” drop and possibly hatch louvers. You have an RS not z28; the simplicity of the rallies are beautiful.

personally i like it the way it is. Looks great like that. No black headlights even tho i normally say that it would look better. Its fine the way it is. Just add clear marker lights and done. Maybe the 5" spoiler too.... heres a pic of The Swede...

Leave it! Looks GREAT. If you must add something, black 91-92 hood blisters, and black headlight buckets. After that, just enjoy it.

Dude it looks freaking fantastic. The only thing I'd do is lower it and inch or 2. Please don't over mod it.
You did a VERY nice job!

Re: How to make my car look better.
right on with the ghetto photochop!!! I'm LOVING the blackout on amber only, don't listen to those who say to black out everything . The red stands out and helps make the white reverse light "pop" in a very subtle but great way. Not to mention EVERYONE blacks out their tail lights.
DO EVERYTHING in the ms paintshop you made, PLUS the grill insert behind the front plate in black, flat or satin would look best.
KEEP the stock hood and save you're money for whats underneath. Maybe do a SMALL cowl hood if you need room but nothing more than that. You have one of the most balanced looking cars i've seen on here and trying to add too much will detract from that.
If you really want to stand out, less is more. Plus how great would you feel when someone with a million aftermarket/custom mods came up to you very, VERY annoyed that you're car looks better than theirs and they can't figure out why
by the way, I'm only using CAPS to convey how impressively CLEAN your car is right now and STRONG my CONCERN is that adding to many mods might ruin that LOL.
also, your car officially convinced me to ditch the door guards when I repaint mine. white third gens > all

Re: How to make my car look better.
Wow I just noticed you're from Missouri, where from?
First off, that is a really clean car. Other than a few subtle touches I wouldn't do anything major to that car at all. It's a gorgeous Camaro.
The few subtle touches I would do are:
Nightshade all 3 tail lights
Clear side markers in the fenders
black '91/'92 Z28 grill
paint the headlight buckets black
lower it if you haven't already (hard to tell in the pictures)
Get rid of the red interior, grey would look really good
Get some new turn signals in the front bumper

Re: How to make my car look better.
DEFINITELY needs some black up front; headlight buckets and Z28 grille. Maybe some black heritage stripes on the hood and rear deck?
That's all. Stance and wheels are perfect.
Beautiful car.

Re: How to make my car look better.
I wouldn't do the black heritage stripes, it will be a bit much and take away from the clean look of the car. The black Z28 grill and headlight buckets are a must though.
If I had some extra time I would do a nice photoshop for you. I'm not sure if I will be able to this weekend or not though, since I have 4 finals next week.

I did think of another thing that you should consider. BRAKES. Those C6 wheels are wide open, and the stock 3rd gen brakes (especially with rear drums) are weak looking.

Re: How to make my car look better.
As the car sits it has a very clean appearance. Painting the headlight buckets black will change the fronts cleanliness. If you're not putting black iroc louvers on than don't.
I would actually make a functional Iroc hood and paint it white. The tail looks good with the subtle black over the turn signals. I have seen full tint on the rear it looks gaudy and big. The red keeps it clean. In truth I like you're car the way it sits.

Re: How to make my car look better.
I am going to side with the guys saying don't touch the exterior. It looks clean and beautiful the way it is. If you have to mess with the tail lights, find a pristene set of the "grid" style tail lights. I do agree that the car is begging to be lowered, but that is my personal pet peave with the third gens, I really don't like the fender/wheel gaps they have. Bring it down an inch or two with a VERY subtle rake and I would call perfection. Nice ride either way.
