Re: My 88 Camaro IROC-Z
looks pretty good. Like the ZR1 wheels, and digital gauges.
Lose the wood grain and get the headlight buckets painted black.
I see "99" on the fuel gauge--does that mean % left?
What brand are they gauges and can you switch to metric?

They are dakota digital gauges, and i want them! Very nice car, even with the wood grain and red buckets. I wish mine was HALF as clean as yours. How much did you get it for, if you don't mind me asking?

I hear you all about the wood grain dash, thats gonna go. I got it for $3000. As for the fuel gauge it did mean 99% left in the tank and yes you can change it to metric.

Note the depth of the true ZR1 wheel in the rear
VS the regular 5 spoke wheel.
Like I stated, I think he has true ZR1 rear wide AMF wheels! My vote goes to putting the 88-90 IROC wheels on. Also I will agree lose the wood and paint the buckets. Nice car otherwise!

Re: My 88 Camaro IROC-Z
I an sure a 4th gen wheel would help but... I think those are actuall ZR1 wheels, not replicas or Camaro SS or even Vette Gran Sport wheels. Look at the bolt area of the rear wheels, its VERY deep, just like the mid 90 ZR1. The regular SS wheels and Gran Sport wheels are not that deep in the rear. I could be wrong but I doubt it...

Re: My 88 Camaro IROC-Z
I have a small update on my Camaro along with some pics. I recently had my steering, brakes, and half the rust on the undercarriage fixed. I bought new tires and will have pics later but my wheels are causing the tires to lose air because of the wear and tear on them. So im lookin for some 88 IROC wheels. I got the ugly woodgrain out. Got a stereo. Still gotta do the interior black though.

Re: My 88 Camaro IROC-Z
Totally agree; also add the total decal package. I don't think you can beat the looks of an original detailed IROC-Z. If you want to do that, I suggest you check this site for specifics. It becomes problematic to reverse things after the fact.

As for my center caps...yeah that how i got em.
Need new wheels though my rims are pretty shot up.

If it were only that easy. There not just beat up as in the appearance but there worn and are causing my tires to leak air.
