My Iroc at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Florida

I got her out of the garage, dusted off the cobbwebs and drove 7 hours to daytona for the Turkey Rod Run. I have been to this show every year since I was born almost. The best car show that I go to year round and it was nice to bring my Iroc down this year. The car did great and got 23ish MPG on the interstate so I felt good about that. I have been meaning to post these pics but Ive been so busy with two jobs and full time school. I just finished my finals earlier this week so Ill have a little bit of a break for christmas.

Let me know what you think about the pics. Ive got a new camera it is a Canon EOS Rebel XTI digital SLR and Im still getting used to all the different settings Im in love with it so far. The only downside is all I have right now is the standard 18-55mm lense and I want to get a more powerfull one for distance.

Here is my Iroc, my Gramps 78 pacecar, and my brothers 89 GT outside of daytona motor speedway

I was in the car club section. it was all paved where I was at. IDK if you took yours into the show but when you came into the track from outside it was one of the first sections. It was across the road from the for sale cars.

This goes without saying, but beautiful car! That color just pops in the light. I really like the second and third pictures.

I was in the car corral section near the middle of the back straight away. Wish I would have seen yours in person - looks great in the pics

Re: My Iroc at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Florida

Nice cars .....I JUST GOT RID OF 84 GN AND NOW HAVE a 89 formula firebird project. Im located about hr and a half from statesboro to the south and west of ya. I have owned 88rs 5spd with irocs, 2000 ss 6 spd, and 97 z28 with borla ex and 18 inch z06's and etc. Bird is in beginning stage but may put in ls swap this yr, unless I find an iroc I like better. Cool to find others close by.
