Took some pics of my 91' today
Hey guys. I got a new lens for my camera this Christmas so I figured I'd try it out with one of my cars today. I'm new to photography and editing all together so I'm open to any criticism good or bad. I did a photoshoot with my 02' SS a few months back if you'd like to check them out too on LS1Tech: http://ls1tech.com/forums/multimedia...hotoshoot.html

Both are awesome! Really like the RS, blue is just too kool. Are those chevy bowtie stickers/decals on the Iroc rims?

Thanks alot guys I appreciate it!
Yes. My dad's friend owns a vinyl print company and we asked him to print out some vinyl stickers with a red bowtie and he was more than glad to. They turned out really good. Without them the wheels stuck out too much with all the chrome.

Beautiful car. The darker blue and the chrome go really well together.

Very nice. I think I drove through the parking lot 5 times looking at it. Then picked up my wife and drove her by it to show her what i want mine to look like.

The rims look great. I am hoping that my Z28 rims will look that "shiny" (thinking of the polished ones from thirdgenranch which Denny says are polished to a mirror shine).

Yeah, I drive through the lemon lot a couple times a week just to see if there's anything new. I always seen it sitting in the end space of the dorm parking lot.

What color blue is that? I'm about to get my '92 painted and I'm looking for paint codes. I'm thinking of Arrival Blue from a Cobalt.

Very nice photos!!! I noticed you are running a 4th Gen rear.. What is your backspacing on the rear wheels? I am planning on buying polished Irocs also in 18s.

Wow.. what a beautiful car. You've done a really tasteful job.. Z28 hood, nice wheels and center cap sticker. love the stance as well. As far as the "photography", practice your "dept of field". If things in the background aren't interesting, blur them out with dept of field, like in pic 5. Like the shots where you look lower than the subject as well. Great job, and I look forward to seeing more of your pics..!.. Stone

Re: Took some pics of my 91' today
Ive been thinking about putting blisters on my IROC hood I have set aside for when I paint the car... blisters instead of louvers (I have to source one or the other...) And I think I've pretty much decided I want to use blisters now thanks to your car. It's beautiful.
I always worried the blisters would need the high rise spoiler to really balance the look, but it looks really nice with the 3pc spoiler.

Not sure of the exact height but they are stock RS springs. I plan on lowering it eventually... first I need to get it running again.

Re: Took some pics of my 91' today
Thank you! Honestly I'm not sure. They're basically replicas of the original IROC's; just chrome and 17". So they're probably the same as a stock IROC wheel. They stick out a bit than usual due to the 4th gen rear. I didn't know it was going to be wider until we got it on, but I like it. Gives a good stance from the rear.
