My black/polished lip ROH Snypers
17X9 with 0 offset all the way around. 275/40/17 up front 285/40/17 out back. I got a sweet deal on them because the clear was pealing/flaking off. I stripped the clear and painted the centers black. I would love to lower the car about 1" now, but my roads/driveway wont permit it. What do yall think?

Re: My black/polished lip ROH Snypers
I like it a lot. I *was* running snypers but i went to z06s. I wanted wider and a different style. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay? I paid quite a bit for a set with peeling clearcoat. But i have 17x8 front 17x9 rear. Your going to hate polishing those things without clearcoat but when they are polished man do they look good. We actually run the same exact tires . Kumho Ecsta SPTs...even have the same 285/40s on the rear!
Word of advice keep 29psi or lower in the rears or else the tire wear is going to be pretty bad in the center section of the tires. Mine are bald in the middle and have plenty of tread on the outside. Do your 275s rub in the front at all?
I toyed around with the idea of painting the center of mine gunmetal gray but never did do it mine are just polished all around.

Re: My black/polished lip ROH Snypers
The car looks great. I love the polished lip/black centers on a lot of different wheels. I actually am running GTA wheels with the polished lip/black center. The snypers are a great addition to the car though.
Also, I think your tail lights are awesome! The 4th gen-esque circle openings really go well with the spoiler. Imo it would have been better if you could have done the hexagons though.

Re: My black/polished lip ROH Snypers
Thanks for all the complements. I've been wanting to ditch the stockers for a long time now. I just have to get used to the feel of the car now with the wider tires. 11 1/2" footprint verses 8" feels ALOT different. I'm loving the look now.
Stevo- Thanks for the heads up on the psi. The 275's up front do rub the inner fender a little at full lock. I got the whole set, rims/tires for $500. The tires are barely used.

17x11 would work out good on your car since you have the 4th gen rear. If you buy these type rims new they'll have the right offset for your rear, I was told that they don't make them with the 3rd gen offsets anymore. Mine have been hiding out in a garage for a few years.

Looks awesome! Thanks for posting that back shot. I now know what size ties I'm buying next month when mine comes out. I've got the same wheels in mint original condition!

Re: My black/polished lip ROH Snypers
Ya i don't think i am going to sell mine just because they will become harder and harder to find. Id love to get the rears widened to 17x11.
lol you guys are making me want to keep them mounted.

I approve of the look.
I disagree with you on having 17x11's and having to go with a 4th gen rear.
I'm actually going with 17x11's but I would want a thirdgen rear so I can put on 1.25" or 1" spacers and tuck in the wheels an extra 3/4" or 1". The ideal would be to have custom offset rims or a custom made rear just to get the wheels tucked in enough.

That looks really awesome! Makes me miss my red car. Has a nice stance, even without the lowering.
I have 2 questions.
What size exhaust tips you running, and whats next on the agenda?

Re: My black/polished lip ROH Snypers
The tips measure 3 1/2" O.D. Next on the agenda is a new motor, the LO3 is really tired (160K miles), all but the last 30K had to endure Penzoil. I'm still debating on dropping another 305 back in or either a turbo V6. And paint, definitely paint...what you see is a high end rattle can job.
