NE BBQ the 28t of Sept... in Bridgewater NJ in Duke Island Park.

Be there at 11... myself and a hand full of other will be there at 10 setting up...

Bring your own food and a dollar per person for admission... we hate asking for money, but it was 60 bucks to reerve the park, so we gotta...

And please, no alcohol... Not everyone will be 21 there (myself included) and we'd all like to keep this clean sober fun... we don't wanna get broken up because of a few loud drunk people... Plus we all know how car nuts get when we're in large groups... no need for alcohol to intensify that effect... Remeberthe last meeting with the drunk guy on the motorcyle... yeah, you know what I mean...

Other than that... show in anything you want...Doesn't have to be a thirdgen or f-body for that matter... as long as you're a fan...

We've got quite a few people coming from LS1.com and other boards as well... LS1.com has a 3 page post dedicated to this event, and the post on the NE board here is about 2.5 pages long... we need more people!

Bring a friend, bring family, bring whoever! If you like, some of us will be wearing nametags, feel free to join in. I'll be just about the only guy in a Sport Coupe, and it will be the only black Sport Coupe with a spraybombed silver 3" daytona cowl hood.

Thanks for the heads up, usually most people seems like need 1 month in advance notice. But, I know I've been contacting people here within the past day or 2 about our 21st meet, hope you can get some folks to show up.

I see there is a huge amount in the NJ area. If there were a place we could schedule to meet up somewhere in between with everyone, I'm sure we could have 70 3rd gens together. anyone up for that idea?

Mark, thanks for the heads up on the other post...

People on the NE board have known about this for about 2 months now... it seems we forgot about this board though, so thats why I posted.

At the last meet we had... we probably had 50 cars or so... i think everyone was so in awe we forgot to count...

I think the idea of finding an inbetween point is a great idea! I think 70 is a conservative number, especially if people see that people will be commuting great distances to the meet... I'm sure there are at least a few doubters out there who believe that the meeting will bust and no one will show... Not true! We should take a look at what states we cover here, and see if we can't come up with a neutral place... talk to our members and see how far everyone is willing to travel... Perhaps we could make it a weekend event, like the folks over at nethirdgen.org did for LV3... that might inspire some people...

It'll definatly take some planning, but it sounds like a great idea.

That sounds like an awesome idea, yeah I've ran across so many people from NJ in my searching. I even had one guy considering driving from Nebraska I think. whoa.

anyways, let's get this thing started. I know I would like something as soon as possible, but we need people to have time to plan, plus with college in right now, some can't make it cause of that. Think early summer would be a good idea.

I think we could get over 100 3rd gens then, if we combine ourselves.

Maybe start a sticky on both boards, and with my whorin and it bein in my sig has helped a lot. Maybe we can come to a consensus. I know I wouldhn't mind driving 4 hrs to a meet if it were goin to be like 100 of us. Just need to come up with a common meeting ground.

Bridgewater, eh? I got lost there. I'm still not sure where the hell the mall is. I kept seeing signs, but no mall. That might be fun... although I should really be welding a 1/4 panel onto my car! I'd hate for you to be the only sport coupe with a 2.8 there, though!
