New Member from Chicago land area
Just wanted to see if there is anyone else on here from the Chicago land area. I am up in the northwest suburbs and am looking for a good performance shop to take my 91 Firebird too. It needs some transmission work and tuning.

I'm from the Chicagoland area too, Elgin. I just got a firebird again, an 1982, so not sure which performance shops are good currently. I have some local car friends from my previous firebird ownership who I could ask. Where in the chicagoland are you looking to get trans work done?

I redid the interior,
On display in my new front yard in Minooka IL.
I just moved to Minooka from Louisiana for work and bought the old GRYHAWK, still needs some fine tuning, so I'll have to check those people out.

Hey, you're not too far from Route 66! Hop in that T/A, and head down to Pontiac, IL sometime. Pontiac Museum, and lots of other good stuff there, and all along the way.

Re: New Member from Chicago land area
I was thinking about heading down there on Friday, but the GRYHAWK, has a cooling issue, so I'll have to drive the "Inferno" (2013 RS Camaro painted Inferno orange with white stripes. The Cooling issue I believe is from the plastic air damn piece that came off while it was on the trailer. I have it, but did think it was the big of a thing, but I was just cruising around the back road and she heated up. It didn't do that in NOLA, so I figure that's the problem.
