4th Annual Lehigh Valley, PA gathering - August 23rd, 2003
On August 23rd, 2003 from 11:00am til whenever, the 4th annual Lehigh Valley Thirdgen Enthusiasts Gathering will be held at Hugh Moore Park in Easton, Pa. Easton, Pa is located on the Eastern edge of PA, a few minutes from Phillipsburg, NJ. It's only an hour and change drive from NYC and from Philadelphia.
There will be beer, bbq, and bs'ing and checking out all the cars. Around dinner time, we will cruise somewhere to take a nice group picture, and get dinner somewhere as well. For the past 3 years, there's been 25+ cars generally, and 40 or 50+ people in attendance.
The gathering is run through my site, Poorformance.NET, and it's requested that you sign up to attend the picnic at
http://poorformance.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=8. On signing up, please note that you are from Thirdgen.org, just so we can keep track.
All you need bring is a few dollars donation toward the cost of renting the park and pavilion, and/or a food item or two.
All are welcome who appreciate the third generation f-bodies. It's not required that you bring a thirdgen, but it would be nice.
Also, there are informal events for whomever wants to attend friday evening and on sunday during the day as well. Friday night is track night at Maple Grove Raceway and Sunday is a Wheels of Time classic car show in Macungie, PA. Those are open to whoever is interested.
Hope to see you there.

I dunno if i could make that. I am working all next week and I'd have to be up at 4:30 every morning. What time does this thing start? I would be home from work prolly around 5pm which means I prolly wouldn't get up there till around 7ish.

Sheesh, I just get up here from Texas and I am already missing thirdgen gatherings....(I missed a bunch in texas...) I know I will be up here for another year or so....going to Pennstate at Harrisburg to finish my degree. Does anyone do any other Eastern/Central PA gatherings? I'd love to bring my not so good looking, lt1 powered TA out...that is, once the LT1 starts (hopefully tomorrow)

I won't be making it out to jersey much, since I'll be living in harrisburg, jersey is probably a 3+ hour drive away However, the LT1 did start Just needs the coolant fans hooked up and the motor is ready to go...the interior is a different story. If anyone knows for sure of a place to get $50 or less seats, drivers side with the track, that will bolt into the F-Body, let me know....I am probably just gonna move the passanger seat into the drivers position for now, just so I have it for wednesday when classes start...

we have some get togethering in the lehigh valley, which is probably 80 miles from harrisburg, and we get together in philly, and at some of the local 1/4 mile tracks as well. Check out the site in my signature if you're interested in any of the lehigh valley stuff

Oh fer cryin' out loud; thought the meet was in september. My bad; I'll get you guys next year.
I'm probably going to the MAFBA (mid atlantic f-body association) gathering, Sept 20th, if anyone else feels like taking a nice long drive. Info's on their forum...
