Hi, i have been off the board for a while, so how is everyone doing? I wacked someone on the thruway yesterday (first day as a new transfer at UB) didnt hurt my car to bad, i need a fender, front clip, and headlight assembly and fog light. I ll fix it eventually...............after i buy books...............and pay tuition. *sigh* winter is coming, does anybody have anything exeptionally ugly to drive in the winter? (besides me)

ok, uou either saw my car pre-bang up in the parking lot of my work, or across the street at my cousins shop, licatas, after the hit. I work for paint medic. the car is not to bad, it will be up and on the road by next summer (hopefully).

Me and my car are at UB until Monday when it goes to the shop for dyno tune and to get a tach installed. I can't wait to see the dyno results.

Hey this is awesome, finally found some 3rd gen people in buffalo! I go to ub also but i'm not on campus too much because i'm doing an internship full time at American Axle. I'm working on a full engine swap right now from an 88 formula 350 into a rust-free 84 TA. I'm not running yet and probably won't be for a while, but it'd be cool to meet some of you and see your rides. I also have a good number of extra parts that I'd be willing to sell or trade. If anyone is up for planning a small get-together on campus or something let me know.

My ride is going bye bye for the winter this weekend after it get touched up for some key marks .

If that is a 88 350 TPI it was putting out 230hp and 330tq stock at the flywheel, not bad. My lowly 305 after lots of moding is only putting out 226hp and 316tq at the fly, 187hp 263tq at the rear.

Does anybody know a good Buffalo junkyard, I need minor some interior piece for my 87.

Hey Pre, I found a decent yard with about 5 thirdgens last week, i think 3 were birds. What part is it that you're looking for? I have a lot of extra interior stuff myself. I'll have to figure out what the name of the yard was, i may even go back tomorrow. Give me a call at 984-2160 and if i don't have what you need i'll give you the info on the junkyard. Oh and ya, it is a 350 TPI with Edelbrock headers and a 9 bolt posi/ disk rear. It'll be tons of work, but it should be pretty sweet when it's done.

I need the big plastic bolts that hold the plastic cargo or trunk area to the walls and the plastic holder for where the seat belt gets clicked into. Everytime I go over a bump or crack in the road I hear rattling from the trunk area it pisses me off. Just tell me where the junkyards are, when I go home I get my dads car and go get some stuff. Hey Liveround, I'm also in Cheektowaga. Thanks for the info on the local message board, i just registered for it. Are there any thirdgenners on there? So far i've seen mostly import stuff. Also, what's NYIRP? Oh and Pre sorry about not getting back to you before. The junkyard i was talking about is called Buffalo Auto Wrecking. I forget the address but it's near Buff State and you can find them listed in the yellow pages. I think it'd be cool if we could get a meet together even though my car isn't close to running yet. I've seen a few nice thirdgens around locally lately including a trans am with a RA1 hood that's always parked on Eggert Rd between sweet home and i think it's grover cleveland drive.

ok this is great i had no idea that there where so many thirdgenners around me, i am in west seneca, right now i drive a 92 camaro RS 25 th anniversary edition, 5 spd v8 with OEM 16 inch wheels, my trans am and firebird are in storage thos are my true love, my ta is an 85 has 41k on it and its a first year LB9 and my bird an 89 5 spd v8 tbi with 59000 on it the camaro is just something to put around in, its pretty easy to tell my car it has 3 nasty chips on the front g effect so if n e one sees me crusin stop me and say hwats up, i hope this didnt sound to corney lol

mine is Brown w/ gold ground effects.... not my favorite color, but hey its got no rust and i got it for 1500$ . theres a few thirdgens on ubrf, actually one of the mod on this board is on ubrf.org. i forget his name on here, hes got a black iroc. Lives in cheektavegas. Im sellin a set of 350 Vortec heads if anyone is interested 300$ i put out 350lb/ft of torque at 2300rpm (at the wheels) w/ those heads. anyway. mine is an 84 Trans Am, white with gold ground fx. I'm pulling the engine and tranny out this coming weekend and will be moving on to preping and painting the engine compartment black. Then it's on to the 350 TPI swap. I plan on repainting the car a silver or pewter color eventually, but that may not be immediately after the engine swap.
Onefine8T9, I'd be up for meeting and checking out your rides... if you want to see mine you'll have to come to my garage because it won't be moving too soon. unfortunately im not..i got a 91 teal rs..custom paint w/ghost stripes, green underbody kit, black windows, nice stereo (not done)..i do have a flowmaster exhaust,..but no headers, and no rear end..yet (too poor, still in college). Hopefully getting my cell fixed today, so if anyone has given me a ring, i apologize, but my antenna is mia, and my phone doesnt ring because of it

i dont have a sn, like i said its my college computer but again my # is 4443120 so if you guys want to meet up let me know, i think all thirdgens is the way to do it my firebirds wont ever see the road(to many ignorant drivers) but id take our club to the storage unit to check them out, my camaro is my daily driver though so even though its not my best its still a really nice thirdgen. only a few more days until its off the road though, there calling for some decent weather this coming week so i can clean it up and park it, im gonna even look for a thirdgen winter car, its hard, i went to look at this berlinetta today across from decades on center in w seneca, he seems firs on a thousand but i dont know, i gave him my number and said maybe7 or 8 hundo, it was a little to soft in some spots but who knows, i just need to fond a decent winter thirdgen(if you will) before it gets bad out........so like i said give me a ring guys, BTW dont mind the music on the voicemail i havent figured out how to change it back, it was so long ago

I'm 23 and beer sounds good to me. Two questions, where is Kahunaville and how many of us actually have 3rd gens that are drivable now? I think we're going to be the car club with the least number of functioning cars. lol. I'm still looking forward to it though and it just means that it'll be that much nicer when they all come out of hybernation in the spring. How about we meet up between 10:00 and 10:15 on Saturday night? It seems like most people should be free by then.
