there was a great turn out there tonight

we played a little on the way home, very impressed at the power of her car.
she beat me twice, but i will admit i short shifted the second run
she really likes the car, it came out pretty nice, and i will say when she went past me, it sounded real nice with that 3" flowmaster exhaust on it

Were you the white 2nd gen TA next to the red 3rd gen Formula with the black wing? Cars looked nice!

I didn't have my cars there this week, but I went with my brother...
(Hugger Orange/white stripe '69 Camaro)...

yeah mine's the white 79 TA and Her is the FB

what a great turn out there
alot of people and cars too

We had fun on the way home. I was extremly impressed at how strong her car is, she did beat me twice (of course i was spinning big time and short shifted, but still fun). (now itching to put the 455 in the TA, but i want to save it for her car)

hopefully the weather is nice this weekend. I want to take that black spoiling thing-a-majigie off, it weighs that hatch down so much.

i have to fix the uneven braking her car has now, probably needs a good bleeding and slide caliper greese.

there were some gorgeous 6x camaros there

we didn't make it either
weather was so-so
but didn't rain, go figure
anyway, the TA is hung up, gotta do plugs and figure out why they are fouling out (i think my power brake line was not sealed properly)
put a new air filter on it too
and needs a major cleaning now

her car is done

we had to run to NJ last night, the prop on my ski wouldn't come off and i broke 4 prop tools. Thankful my friends shop was still open. so we loaded the jeep up, and away we went
was out for 2 hrs today. what a BLAST.
i hope next weekend we can get out with the cars and skis

i am planning to take Friday off
so i can try to finish the TA off.

well looks like another crappy weekend of "chances of rain"
with the humidity, it probably will later in the evenings
this sucks
if it's nice we'll be out

probably going to Island next fri, and Kohl's next saturday

if i get out of work early on Tuesday, i want to stop by Bald Hill for the first time in 3 years

I *should* be out there next week, weather permitting.

Woulda been there yesterday, but was meeting some people for dinner.

Might as well post a pic of the car from today though

thats a nice looking ride
depending on what time we get in from friday night, and how long we stay out in the water, we should be there around 7-8

then head to Ruby's for dinner with everyone (or who ever shows up)

i couldn't believe the turn out there
was really nice
some nice different cars

Last weekend we were out looking for some fun, and getting ready for our trip, which we got back last night.
we are gonna head out tonight, we'll be solo since the other girls don't wanna come out and the other Pontiac guys are at some event in NJ. Woke up to late to go 'skiing today, so cleaned the cars a little.

trying to find a sports bar that would have the UFC fights tonight on Pay Per View. We wanna see the Lidel fight.

I am from merrick and I was wondering how many cars are usually out where ever you all go to...

I'd be interested in coming by if there are a good amount of cars and someone lets me know what time and how to get there from Southern State Pkwy.

Thanks

I was there again (rode with my brother in his 'Stang) - saw the cars Don, looked nice... didn't see you though...

Amrish, it's not a huge turnout, but it's decent. 7:30-??? - Some nice stuff. It's right on Commack Rd in Commack. I take LIE to Exit 53? for Commack Rd, and just take that South over LI Ave & the train tracks, and it's on the left side...

we were checking the chics out in Ruby's
there's one hottie in there that has a killer butt

we were walking around alot, i never stay by our cars, usually running around with Glenn's kids. Saw a nice convertable 3rd gen that has a vette motor in it, looked real nice, very clean car too

we got there around 7 or so, not sure when people show up, seems like they get there early.

there is a nice little turn out there
some really cool older rides.

if we are around this weekend, we'll stop by
we went to the park right off of commack road to snap some photos, man i wish we could hook up with that chic in Ruby's that could make for a good photo shoot
you can tell we're sorta on the wild side

to get there from SS, there are a few ways to go. i'd say get off at (x39??) for Rt 231
take 231 north and it will fork left for commack road (mobile gas station would be the split so to speak)
then just take commack road to you get to Kohl's/Ruby Tuesday's
even though it was overcast, alot of cars showed up

someone took up the monte carlo parking spots LOL
thought that was funny, can't wait to rub that in to my friend at work this week.

We've been talking Pedro in to getting his TA out with the Butler mountain motor out to see how that runs.

there are some car shows in NJ next weekend, so not sure who is going to show up.
we plan to go to NJ either next weekend or the following weekend.

heard bellmore had a problem last friday night, someone got hit by a car??
plus you can't open the hoods?

does anyone here own that blue convert?
that must have been a fun conversion to do, probably runs real nice too

Yeah... I own the vert with the LS1, the motor is really out of a 2002 trans am. But they don't have covers that say Camaro. They have Corvette or GTO covers. I went with vette. I think it explains the LS1 better to those with less knowledge.

Hawks did the conversion. It was lots of fun stroking that check to Bruce But it was worth it.
It's really fast. My son says" it's sick quick". LOL

i heard it leave, sounded nice, sorta stealthy cause it was tame, but knowing the power of the ls1, that must move nicely

it's very well done, and the car is impressive

i've toyed with getting one for my TA, but if i do any other motor swap, it's gotta have a super charger, otherwise i'll just keep the 400/455

we are off to a late start today, long night out last night

we should be there 7ish
probably just taking one car since her's is very dirty and she wants to ride in the TA

that weather was freaky last night
we bolted early cause of the rain
it was raining near us by the time we got home
so we took her car out to go back, but then it was almost empty

that was the biggest crowd we have seen there
nice variety too

if we are around next weekend, we should be there unless we decide to go to CT.

we will one of these saturday nights
it's hard to make it there early as we are in the water usually all day on saturdays

if we get out early and dont go to NJ, we'd love to stop by there

although Kohls in getting bigger and bigger.
I wont be surprised if it gets stoped shortly.

It was very nice to meet you Stuart

That is one super nice clean original TA you have

not sure if we will be around this weekend. have a few jugs of gas to burn off for the jetskis so we may head to NJ for the weekend. Supposed to be a gorgeous weekend again.

that was pretty cool to see that racing movie from LIextreme.com out of that guys expedition.

well
anyone planning on heading there this weekend?
hopefully the weather holds out
last weekend had the wisdom teeth done
weekend before that we were in NJ 'skiing, suffered some damage there

If you know of anyone looking for a nice formula 350, we are considering on selling, since we just bought a Jeep and now have more tuition bills for her classes to pay.

i'm going to see if i can find the few people who asked us over the summer.
not sure on the price just yet, but it's a fun solid car.
she's pissed cause i said to sell it for her classes, but with 5 cars between us, it's just to many toys (the skis alone are extremly expensive), plus i don't really want this sitting outside all winter since it's in really nice shape. perfect for someone who loves a third gen and wants it as a toy or daily car (although i would dred driving it in snow/ice)
none-the-less if anyone is interested feel free to contact me.

i also have someone who might by the TA, so if that does go, then we'll keep hers. we'll see which sells first.

I saw both cars over by Ruby's - looked for ya, didn't see ya... then I saw you both leaving pretty early. I was over by the Ice Cream truck with my Z28...

sorry didn't see you there
my teeth were killing me, and i was down with the good ole seasonal cold.
she had it bad this week

we'll probably take my car tomorrow night

her car now seems to have an exhaust leask, i think from the exhaust manifold on the head (gasket time, well in the spring)
