350 swap experience questions
I have read the engine swap board pretty thorough and the though of putting a v8 in my car kinda scares me because i like doing the work myself but it seems that there is a lot involved and a lot of things to replace along with the engine and i really dont want to replace 95% of the car just to convert it to a 350. Anybody done this swap that can assure me its not as hard as i think?

You can turbo it. A V8 swap isn't that bad if you have a donor car or a v8 car at the JY or something.

new engine, plus engine wire harness, plus ecm, plus transmission (your v6 transmission will not mate to a v8)

Re: 350 swap experience questions
It's easy. Sell your V6 Camaro and get one with a V8. No offense but if you wanted V8, you should of just got one instead of V6. Converting a V6 to V8 will cost you more in parts and labor than just getting one with a V8 originally. You can make that V6 make more power though.
