I might be up there but will not be in the Camaro. Probably go check out the swap meet and play some poker. Hope you have a good time up there regardless. I'm like 50/50 right now on going.

So as of today I am going. Tomorrow could be a different story. Either way I am not taking the Camaro will be in my dad's truck. Checking out the swap meet and the strip.

Cool...I will hopefully see you guys tomorrow! We will be cruising the strip all day! Be on the look out for the low flying black iroc!

Made it to HWY 80...about an hour from Reno and the car decided to turn off. Got it towed to the local Napa station. After some diagnosis, we determined it was a bad Alternator. Changed the alternator in the parking lot and took off again. Made it 15 miles and the car turned off again. Have no idea what is going on. Called AAA and had it towed 200 miles back to San Jose. To say that I am frustrated and pissed off is an understatement. We had this same problem show up several months ago. We changed one of the MSD ignition wires and the car ran perfectly for the last 6 months. Looks like we did not resolve the problem. Back to the drawing board....wish us luck and say a prayer.

bad ignition module or something it seems. getting overheated then turns the car off. gotta see what you lose when it shuts off. whether it is spark, fuel. or you just losing power altogether?
