So as along the lines of its dead as hell in this place whats yours guys ideas on a possible late july/early august meet?

I know nape is racing at the autobahn july 21 and 22 I do plan on going not sure if anybody else wanted to shoot some bs and cheer on a 3rd gen to victory?

Just trying to get some ideas out, I know I dont get out to everything we do but there seams to be something missing on the boards since our fearless leader left.

Anyways lets get some ideas rolling maybe volo auto museum again, even just a hooters meet

There is a Hooters in Schaumburg which could be a nice cruise from Volo. www.greatlakesdragaway.com is another option. Heck, even a cruise nite in a local town would be neat. check out CAR EVENTS 2007 that I created in this forum. (I dont know how to attach).

id love to bring my turd-gen out for a meet, but i live in the northern suburbs and i dont like takin the 'maro on real long rides because i know that original 700r4 isnt too happy anymore. i know there is a steak&shake on willow rd. that has a cruise night every monday. there is gurnee mills mcdonalds evry friday. and arlington heights(if i drive with a group part of the way ill go here) every friday.

could some of you maybe accomadate a northsider?

generally we try for a central location for everybody, some are closer than others Im fairly west of the city myself.

there is many more than i would go to than just gurnee, or northfield.

Doesnt matter to me, I could always throw another party at my house maybe go for a cruse in the country.
