Timing chain and aluminum battery box.. for the price of beer

Alright, parts below.. bring me a case of Bud Light, a 12pk of Bud Light Lime for the wifey, or a 6-pack of something "good"

I'm absolutely sick of seeing this stuff laying around but refuse to throw it out if someone can use it..

Edelbrock 7800 Performer-Link True Roller Timing Chain Set for NON-roller SBC motors. Bought this new and never used it.. been sitting for a few years.. $40 new at Summit..

Aluminum battery box. Picked this up years ago for my T/A. Would look awesome polished. You would need to cut/grommet it for your cables as it was never cut. Includes threaded rod and nuts/washers for mounting box, battery, and top. The top has a foam seal around it to be track-legal. The battery in it is a 34/78 for reference.

Re: Timing chain and aluminum battery box.. for the price of beer

I'm a big fan of Bell's Oberon Ale ($11/6pk @ Meijer) since I had some on vacation this past summer, but I'm pretty open to trying any kind of pale ale. I guess everyone has their own definition of "good"

Re: Timing chain and aluminum battery box.. for the price of beer

I would take the battery box and get you beer, and you keep the timing chain for someone else that will get you beer. Two for the price of one! What do you say? I have a couple of cases of bud light. Let me know.

Re: Timing chain and aluminum battery box.. for the price of beer

That's how I figured it would work anyways, guess I didn't clarify too well. Anyways, sounds good to me, when do you want to come pick it up?

I was also considering the battery box, but wondering if you might have any other parts you need to get rid of.

Re: Timing chain and aluminum battery box.. for the price of beer

I'll take a look around the garage today, but I don't think I really have anything else F-body-related. I've even pretty much gotten rid of all of my 4th gen parts too unless you need a stock LS1 balancer or torque converter

I would have taken the battery box in a heartbeat its a nice box.

However, I don't want to install the cut-off switch in the back of the car

Sooo... who wants to pick up this battery box, and when do you want to come get it? If it helps, you can have the timing chain AND the battery box, lol
