Anyone have a similar set up as me?

Im wondering what i would run in the quarter. Theres an 8th mile track about 30 minutes away and a 1/4 about 1 hour away, but i dont really trust my car enough to run it or dyno it. anyways, has anyone ever run a combo like mine? ive kept up with and beaten a few LT1's including a 97 SS, but that doesnt really say much. any help is appreciated. also is there anything i can do before going to a track or a dyno to prevent damage or breaking? If i **** this engine up im screwed so im pretty careful as to what kind of abuse it gets.

well when i run at the track, i just run my car with not changing anything.. street trim.. i have made the mistake of letting a whole crap load of tire pressure out, but not anymore.

things break, and you never know when or where it can happen.

I'd be interested to see how much different it makes.

Around 50HP+ and another 1000RPM with intake and exhaust mods. It's a big difference.

I know it is not proof, but check this out
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=11910

Summit says on a 305, this cam and a chip will make 40hp. Just something to think about.
