Need pics of FP guage winshield mount
I am mounting my FP guage up by the winshield and would like to see how others have mounted theirs.

The cowl is not high enough for the 2 5/8" guage. I need to build a mount to come up the drivers side of the winshield.

If you have kids that have outgrown their training wheels on their bikes then you already have a ready-made bracket. It'll sit flat on the cowl and step up enough so that it clears both the hood and the windshield yet not be too high.

Thanks for the tip but don't have any kids. I made one this morning and will see if it passes tech on the weekend.

OK it took a while but here's a pic. Tech never questions an externally mounted gauge.

Thanks for the pic Stephen. The mount I made is somewhat similar to how you have yours.

The dash pad weighs almost nothing and it's there for cosmetic reasons only. The ends have been cut off to fit between the a-piller bars and I installed a sheet of aluminum to it to mount all the gauges. The dash pad is still mounted with the screws near the defrost vents however 3/8" brake line is used underneith as a support to hold it up. The brake line is welded to the roll cage knee bar. I'll try to get a pic today to show how it's supported.
