low mount alt.???

Has anyone found brakets to low mount the factory 105amp alt on the drivers side? If not what other (non-factory) alternatives are there?

I know theres a C-shaped alt bracket out there that basically flips the alt upside down from the stock V-belt location. Puts it right down there with the mechanical fuel pump. I saw it on Ebay a while back and have been considering using one.

I really want to mount it on the drivers side. I have mocked up some brackets but i like the prof look.

Why not use pre-1969 brackets? They mounted the alt on the drivers side.

I just made up some spacers and a couple of small brackets and mounted it into the front of the drivers head. Pic doesn't show that well but might give you an idea.

Along this same subject, If anyone has pictures of an alternator mounted while using an electric water pump, could you post them? (IHI I know you've got some ) I dont care if I need to get a new alternator or not, the housing on my last one cracked anyways.
