New times in L98...

Old mods- 91 corvette L98 bored .060 with forged internals, Hooker longtubes, flowmaster exhaust, ported plenum, BBK throttle body, no cats, SLP CAI, and my friends drag radials amounted to a 13.67 @ 101 mph.

New mods- Added 1.6 roller rockers, replaced flowmaster with borla adjustable exhaust, new set of nitto555r 285 drag radials, and some weight reduction(took out seats, spare tire n jack, also no air conditioning). Oh and a 150 shot of NX nitrous.

Best N/A run of the night was a 13.63 @ 102.4 with a 1.81 60'.
Best Nitrous run of the night was 12.35 @ 110.4 mph.

My friend also came along in his 1994 camaro with an LS1 swap with longtubes, exhaust, TB, and a built tranny. He ran 13.4 @ 108.4 mph with some traction issues.

You know, i'm actually startin to wonder if the previous owner put in a mild cam. Every person I come across things my times are a lil fast for my car, but I don't really notice any uneven idle or anything like that. He did have a 305 in beforehand and then put in a 91 vette L98, and forged the internals etc, so maybe he did slap in a cam in there while it was torn apart

If somebody went and dropped the dime for a motor swap, and not to mention a motor swap with forged internals, I would find it very difficult to believe that he would leave the stock cam in there.

Also, w/o knowing what cam you have in there, 1.6 RR's might push you beyond the limits of your springs. Might be a good idea to upgrade them to something that can take like .600 lift just to be safe.

Well he tore it down to set it up for nitrous, and if there is a cam in there, it can't be very big, although my car does feel a lot faster than my friends L98.
