i went back to the track on friday to try out my nitrous since i never got a chance to last week well it was packed, i was ther for 4 hours and made 2 passes first time out on motor i went a 12.91 at 108 with a 1.891 60ft then i put the bottle in knocked the timing down 2deggres and got back in line, witht the 100 shot in it the first time the car has ever been sprayed i went a 12.004 at 116 with a 1.687 60ft one of my friends swears my left front wheel was off the ground, but i didnt really belive him untill i went back to the track on sunday for the rain date of the jasper shoot out i made 6 passes this time, with out changing anything from friday night i gained a half second, i went 12.555 at 111, then 12.454 at 111 so i went back to the pitts put a fresh bottle in and the 150 jets 1st time with the 150s i went a 11.998 at 113and the second time i went a 11.93 at 115, it was about 65-70 deggres on sunday compared to the 40 deggrees on friday night so i think thats why it slowed down, im going back this friday night hopefully going to get kicked off the track for the year for not haveing a cage, thats pretty much been my goal for the last 3 years and im so close, i think ill get it in some 30 degree weather as long as i can get it to hook up, oh yea and i was pulling the left front wheel off the ground the track photogrpher got a great picture of me coming of the line , i should have a video of it by the end of the week and hopefully ill be able to scan this picture to post it up

With a 108 trap N/A, you could go low 12's all motor and probably get booted on the gas.

what are you running for tires? i went 12.31@108mph on a 1.67 60' time.

you must have great traction on the tracks over there
the only 1/4-race I drove this year was on an old military airport with poor traction.. 1.82 60 ft and 10.90 at 129mph :P and you guys makes 1.6x times on 12 second passes.. thats unfair ;D

interesting, you're running a 305 with tpi and same cam as me...i have heads stroker the whole 9 yards....my goal is low 12s u already hit it with a 305....

edit your high 11s are on spray but with my crappy 60 foot your right next to me with my 2400 stall and 323 gears

So you're claiming 108MPH from a naturally aspirated, stock headed TPI 305? That's a little hard to believe - even at Cecil in this good weather. In fact, I'll call it complete BS...

im running 28x9x15 mt slicks on a set of pro stars
marc 85z28 i never said i had stock heads so i dont know where you got that from i have pro comp aluminum heads with 2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust and even if you think it is bull **** i really dont care what you think i have the time slips right in front of me so think what you want, ill have a vid of the 11.94 pass hopefully by the end of the week, dave from jasper said he got a really good video of me starting at the burnout all the way through the traps with 11.94 on the board

lcarb lakewood lower control arms, edelbrock panhard bar, spohn torque arm, stock springs/shocks and i think thats it, but yea i agree with you that it should cut some lower 60's id love to see a 1.5xx

i never said it was bs.... i was just commenting on how amazing it is. 305 formula, did the sphon torque arm help alot with your 60 foot time? I have considered purchasing one of those but I have an edelbrock torque arm in the garage that i have been too lazy to put in.
Other than the Sphon torque arm, we have the same suspension mods. Freaky...

89formula i wasnt talking to you when about the bs it was marc85z who said he thinks its complete bs, i felt a huge difference in traction when i put the spohn torque arm on but i dont have any before and after 60fts with it so i couldnt tell you for sure

Relax... You've got a sig that includes 30 lines of mods including a descreened MAF and airfoil, but no mention of heads Those times are entirely possible with good heads.

What does your car look like? I'll be up at Cecil this spring and would love to see a strong running 305!

yea i have the cross member and the torque arm for the t-56
i didnt even realize that the heads wernt in my sig ill change it now and if you click on this link http://jaspershootout.com/ my car is the black formula with me next to it

yea i guess its pretty obvious which one is me thanks for the compliment i thought my car is pretty quick for a 305 but i was talking to the guy at my local speed shop today and is 82 camaro with a 305 and a stealth ram is going 10.30s at 134 and turning 8500 rpms he wouldnt tell me the internals im really currious whats in that motor

8500 rpms on a stealth ram? Didnt those things run out of breath at 6500 or so?
