Ford Lightning Stock Times
I might be getting a ford lighting, 2000-2002, im not sure but I think the 2002 has the 5.4L 351 with a 3.55 posi rear and 380 stock horsies, what would this run stock? Mid 14s?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Our local VP fuels dealer has one. Bone stock with very low milage he took it to the track for bracket racing. He figured it would be in the 14's and he would have to run in Sportsman class.
Here at altitude it ran 13.8's with factory 18" tires. He ran it in Pro ET class.
Too bad ford had to use a supercharger to get a truck running that fast. Now if GM would just put that 6 liter engine or even the new 8.2 into a shortbox 1/2 ton

One of those ran at Lebanon Valley last year, with the window sticker still in and he went 13.8s all night. That is at around 700 feet above sea level and it was probably 70 degrees out. At sea level I could see them going mid 13s.
