now i got the b4c am looking into what i should put in

what type of exhaust does everyone here have? i dont want it to loud since i plan on driving it at night too. i had a v8 before i went full on headers/straight pipe with muffler and it was pretty loud but it pissed off my neighbors when i came home from the tracks back in the days

The flowmaster in my IROC rumbles loud enough to set off alarms, but doesn't sound tinny. I can hear it echo in tunnels at cruising speed. It's not an annoying sound, like open exhausts are. My neighbors liked it.

Not a catback, I believe it's an older 40 series, with the 3-inch exhaust all the way to the y-pipe. The '87 has a single exhaust from the y-pipe to the muffler, which has two pipes to the rear. My '92 has the OEM twin exhausts from the y-pipe and the same 40 series, but I don't think it sounds as good as the '87 for some reason.

If you're going to replace a Z28 hood, I'd appreciate if you'd let me know. I'd like to upgrade the RS hood on my ragtop.

Re: the fun begins

I heard the new Flowmaster super 40's sound good, no more of that rattle can noise when you let off the gas.

I thought B4C have flat hoods? I could be wrong.
