i emailed the previous owner asking about who did the rebuild on the tranny and rear and what was involved and he responded with this
"There were rebuilt by my brother when he worked at duncan's auto service. The rearend has moser axles, richmond gears and diff, new carrier bearing, axle bearings and seals. Tranny has all new synchros, input shaft, and bearings, 3rd and 4th gears, shift forks. "
apparently the tranny was rebuilt bc 3rd and 4th gear were chunked (i've done that a time or 2 on these t5's myself LOL)
so thats hte information i was able to get on the tranny he told me the tranny cost about a grand to have rebuilt with everything (since his brother did the job while at work he had to pay labor costs as well)..the price sounds about right to me bc thats what the tranny shop told me it would cost to have the one in my 84 bird rebuilt when i blew that out..i decided to go 6sp instead
anyone with anymroe questions feel free to ask

Please if you haven't sold the t5 conversion yet email me at Slowmaro91RS@aol.com. I'm on my buddy's name right now but my name on here is the same as my email. I just missed out on a deal for a t5 conversion and I already have the money set aside. Thanks.

I'll buy the rear if you can give me details on whats definitely inside it. Did it make noise? Whine? What kind of Moser axles? 26 or 28 spline? New posi, GM unit or aftermarket? Gears? Thanks, I'll pick it up.
