How To Convert From TBI To Carb
I currently have a 305 With a TBI injection system, i want to change it over to a carb, but i dont exactly know what i need. I am going to put a new intake manifold on it, probably an edelbrock performer series, and i think i need to get a new distributor. I have also heard i need a new fuel pump, but what else do i need to do??? i am planning on gutting the emissions crap too, and the ecu will be removed probably also,, but that is as far as i have gone???? any suggestions?????

That article pretty much covers everything. I would leave the ECM in just in case you have VATS though. It wont be controlling anything, the only problem youll have is the check engine light will stay on, but you can just pull the bulb for that. also I would keep in the intake electric pump and just use a bypass style regulator. Thats the way I am running it on my mild 350 and it works great. Its a pretty easy swap I did it all in two days(would have been one, but I ran into a complication). Good Luck.
