well I guess calling it nitro is atleast better than calling it "naws" (NOS), check this thread for TBI nitrous part #'shttps://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=95231

If we are goin to slam each other on certian word analegies then maybe you should look in a dictionary and see what the difference between a motor and an engine are......!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet you call your ENGINE a motor all the time don't you!!!!!!!!!???
a motor is an electrical device that builds power from a magnet wrapped in wire.
and a engine is a divice that is fueled by gas and a spark .
so lets not off the stupid s**t and get along huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just kidding, I dont truely slam anyone who isnt slamming me. no harm meant, it just seemed like a funny thing to do. thats why if you notice I actually directed you to the info you needed. I have seen it typed or called nitro, nitrovs, juice, spray, bottlerocket, nos, NOS, naws (nauce), broken engine in a bottle, black magic voodoo (usually old guys). look at it this way, if one of my closest friends started walking around saying something like, " I wanna get rid of my limited slip and put a posi in my car" I would not let HIM run around sounding like a fool either. I would simply inform him that a posi IS a limited slip and that he means open diff or open carrier rearend. cant we all just getalong

Gee, and all this time I thought nitro was short for nitromethane or nitroglycerine. :lala:
Oh well... I don't guess it matters just so long as I remember to put my nitro tablet under my tongue before fueling up my tank with nitro and and hitting the nitro button while driving though the town of Nitro, West Virginia (where they made nitro during WW I) on my way home to watch the "Nitro Girls" on TV.

Maybe you're the one that should spend the time with the dictionary.
