I don’t know that anyone has done a full on, 305 setup… not that there’s anything wrong with it, but most people are talked out of it before they even try. I’m tempted to, but I don’t even own a 305 block right now, and if I got one I’d be tempted to build it up as a replacement for the 350 in my full size truck (long story)

Another here that was tempted, but didn't.
When I got my '90 to replace the '89, it had a stock 305 TPI. I have the BBSDesigns s/s TT kit getting ready to go on the mild L98 I was building, but threw around the idea of boosting the heell out of the 305 first. I determined it more feasible to not be delayed on the L98/T56 project, so I didn't. Now the 305 longblock is in Oklahoma about to be carb'd most likely and going into an El Camino.
At least I have a boost ready L98 with a T56 in the car now.
Wow, that was no help at all.
Anyway, I can't recall actually hearing of anyone doing a 305 turbo setup period.

There’s a lot of advantages to a 305 in a boosted application. It’s biggest problem is the small bore shrouds the valves hurting flow. Well, you can use boost to overcome that to some extent, and the small bore also allows for a faster combustion event which makes detonation easier to control allowing for more boost.

Well i'll be having my setup done within a month or 2. I ordered the BBS single setup about a month ago and still didnt recieve it. I bought a T60-1 turbo, have some mods to the engine. It'll be interesting to say the least.
