Anybody with a supercharged 350?
I was think of buying a stock 92' Z28 with a TPI 350. I would upgrade the ignition, take the cat off, and put on a borla catback. Would it be possible to make 375hp and 450lbs with the addition of a supercharger? How much would it cost for a supercharger and to have somebody install and tune it? I'm sick of dealing with a carburetor and manual trans.

I just installed one on a 1988 350 tpi. I'd go with ati. don't use more than the 9# kit but get the p600b so you can go 12#s later or get the p600sc or whatever their self contained unit is. that ones just very quit and i like the whine. these kits put a stock l98 into the 12's. a guy from this board named trevor dyno'd his car and I think got 375 hp and 450 tq to the wheels on a high mileage l98. I g-teched my car originally and got 14.1 @100 stock w/ a 0 to 60 of 5.7. this was hammering it. Now with the blower.. which I still havn't finished tuning I ran better times shifting at 3k rpm. thats bigtime power increase. I believe it's accurate because I've let tons of people borrow the gtech for their new cars and they get what the factories or motortrend claims. make sure you have gears steeper than 2.73's but not as steep at 3.73. let me know if you have any questions.
