N2O microswitch installation
I am just starting to install a Compucar nitrous kit on my 305 TPI. I purchased the kit used so I dont have any instructions.
Mostly I am just starting to figure things out, and cant see how to mount the micro-switch to activate the system. Does anyone have a picture of how to mount the switch?

The instructions wouldn't help much, they kinda just say "mount the switch so it clicks on at full throttle". I mounted mine in the first hole on the bracket and placed it on with the bottom driver side throttle body bolt... so it's almost sideways. Kinda just play around with different ways to mount it until something works so that when you are at full throttle, the linkage turns on the switch. Have a friend floor it (w/ engine off) and check it to see if it clicks on as a final test. It took me about 45 minutes to get it to mount right. If you got it used then someone already probably bent the bracket correctly for you so don't bend anything back and it might be easier than you think.

Jim,
Use the upper left-hand throttle body bolt (as viewed from the front of the engine) to mount the bracket I made. There is a tab on the throttle body shaft below the TPS. The switch itself bolts onto the bracket I made where it is thrown by the tab on the shaft. Hope this helps.

OK, thanks Willie. I was trying to mock it up to the right side of the throttle body today and I couldn't figure it out!
I am hoping to get the nitrous installed and tested before the 6th of June, and race at the track on the 6th. I am planning to start the install on the 2nd but I am just trying to figure everything out at the moment.
