procharging a tpi 305, what mods needed?

i will be adding a procharger this spring for my 89 t/a tpi 305 motor. i know larger injectors are needed (what size)? what else is recommended, intake mods?, fuel pump?, tuning?, im looking to go mid twelves conservativly,i dont need 500 horse 350 is good enough. car is also getting hooker 2055, and catback. also getting a moser 12 inch posi. any help will be greatly appreciated. just dont tell me to build a new 350, i want to keep a 5.0 and it only has 43k on it..

get a 350

no mods are really needed, they recommend bigger injectors, you cannot do that without re programming the ecm chip, check out my sig

CarCraft or superchevy did an article online on installing a vortech supercharger on a 305 tpi. They had a problem with the stock injectors cutting out at high rpms with the pressure required to fuel the motor. They installed larger ones, cant remember what size, but I dont think they did any ecm adjustments. You can use one size larger on not screw with it. It will just adjust the ?pulse width?

Dude those are awesome rims, never seen em before. S10?? 16x8? You can fit some fat tires on those right? Like 315?

MINIMUM mods that i would put is:
1:upgraded fuel pump (walbro 255lph would be perfect)
2: Injectors (24# so you can turn the boost up more if you'd like)
3:Good tune, you'll be much happier on the street and perform much better at the track with one!

Things that are good to have but not necessary
1:AFPR to fine tune the fuel system
2:Fuel Pressure Guage, to keep and eye on things
3:Wideband or regular A/F ratio guage
3:Upgraded ignion to burn more of the fuel coming in
4: Boost retard box,
5:stall, gears, slicks to get that think hookin up and out of the hole in a heartbeat!

Wheelsup is right. Only other thing that would be good to have but not necessary is a hot wire kit for your fuel pump. Get a tune that doesn't require the fmu. Maybe go even a little bigger on the injectors.

Walbro 340 pump and hotwire kit made for the 89 TTA, no hassles fits correctly and the hotwire kit is already loomed and ready to hook up. It's the only one you'll need into the 10's, beyond that you may need an aux. pump depending on motor requirements.

MSD 50lb/ injectors(overkill yes, but you'll never purchase another injector and they are a damn good injector).

ADJ. regulator

Tuning varies, if you're not doing it yourself it gets costly when you're dyno tuning/ wideband o2. May wanna pick up a Gen 6 DFI kit, might be cheaper for someone to help tune than buying a mail order chip that wont be right.....
