Fuel system diagram

Im trying to put together a fuel system for my car, but Im struggling to find a diagram to show a layout of the components. There seems to be several different ways of doing it.

Im using an Aeromotive Eliminator pump, -10AN line and a Holley 700DP carb.

Im thinking of using an Aeromotive 13202 regulator

Re: Fuel system diagram

Quick rundown

Gas comes out of tank and to pre filter
From pre filter into fuel pump
From fuel pump into a second filter
From Second filter to input of regulator
Output of regulator goes to carb
Return line from regulator goes back to gas tank

Hope that helps.....

Re: Fuel system diagram

Ive just added up the cost of all the fittings, hose, regulator etc, and it comes to an eyewatering $900! That includes shipping and tax. I already have the pump. Going fast isnt cheap

I "believe" I have $1300 into my fuel system in fittings/lines/regulators not counting the pump that was $520

Going fast isn't cheap

It sounds like your unused stuff would be better on my car If any of its for sale, I would definitely be interested. Its mainly -10 AN stuff I need.

Re: Fuel system diagram

Yeah fuel systems never are cheap when you need flow for big power. I got a bunch into mine and its not going to be enough for the new motor.

You running a sumped tank or a fuel cell or what? Is your motor a blown 406 listed in your information?

Yes it is the same motor, a D1SC Procharger on a 406. Its got AFR 210 heads, Dart block, JE pistons etc, so built for big power. Im using an Aeromotive Eliminator pump, so will certainly be sumping the tank. Because I'm want to use -10 AN line, all the fittings, filters, regulator etc. add up to a lot. I looked into going the dual in-tank route, but I cant see it being any cheaper.

Re: Fuel system diagram

I have a dual intank kit. twin walbro 255 pumps, -8an teflon lined braided hose feeding my rails, with Fuel lab filter and Fuel Lab regulator, with -6an teflon lined braided hose for return. All the fittings and pump assembly cost me over 1700 Included wiring harness and hobbs pressure switch to activate the secondary pump.

Should be good to 1000hp tho and I will be testing that.
