CX Racing SBC turbo kit fitment
This winter I want to upgrade my 86 Z with this single turbo kit. https://www.cxracing.com/turbo-kit/t...rice&order=ASC
I am currently running a 383 / shorty headman headers / Holley Sniper. My concern with the kit is fitment around a stock serpentine belt system (just installed last year of course). I emailed CX with this question and they said fitment is unknown, it was not designed to fit a serpentine system. The drivers side is what I am concerned about, I would like to keep the alternator and power steering pump in their stock locations if possible. I saw another post stating the passenger side is going to be a problem for sure. Thats not a huge deal as I do not run smog or AC anyway, I just have pulleys in their place. Hoping I can either cut apart the passenger side bracket to fit around the turbo crossover pipe or maybe do away with it all tother. The stock belt tension is the only piece I would want to retain.
Anyone have experience with this kit?
