is there a builds board on here? you no featured cars doing a lot to a car with a lot of info.? i think it could help with a lot of questions people run into when doing diffrent builds. im know the turbo forums has one and it seems to be a real popular board. just a suggestion

Re: We need a builds board
yea. and if a guy is going to dissasimble a car to build a drag car, track car, or show car. he takes picturs of everything and posts them up for others with questions about building a drag car, ect. what works what dont.
so in a since im building a 89 camaro for drag racing. you can see photos of me pulling the old motor problems incurred, installing the cage, motor, tranny and progress on what ive done. so far with the car. so a builds board.

If you're looking at a turbo/super charger or nitrous, here's the Power Adder Forum: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/power-adder/
If you're looking to upgrade to an LTX and LSX engine, here's the LSX and LTX engine swap forum: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-lsx/

Re: We need a builds board
i know but this would be a whole car build. so it couldent really go in each one. it would be easier to read in just one location. because when building a whole car there will be engine, tranny, drivetrain, power adder, interior, exterior. this would just be everything the car is doing. in one place. so a builds board. i just know its easier to follow a build if its all in one place

I think you want either the Body forum, or the Fabrication forum. Or even the General Tech forum.
What you're asking about is putting several forums rolled up into one larger forum, and I dont think it would work. The reason for separate forums is to zero in on specific parts of a car and address problems with them.

Sounds to me like a Projects forum. I've seen that working real well on other forums. The moderating job would probably be to sort out the "mini-projects" that really just covers one area, such as interior or turbos for instance, and therefore belong in one of the other sub forums.
A prime example of a thread that would belong in a project forum, i Neil's great threads on his awesome build-up that is in the Body section, but that covers a bunch of interesting topics not really body related.
I think the idea is great!
