Re: Vacuum lock-up switch GM PN 14014519

I know for a fact I would not like the TC to always be locked in OD. Even 50 or 100 rpm makes a difference when needing a little extra acceleration, but not enough to downshift. I messed with my...

Re: Looking for performance numbers for intake swap

Thanks for the the additional info. I had oreviously read that the 1990 engine was 190 ho and went up to 195 in 1991. Close enough.

I did the ultimate TBI mods. The existing exhaust is not as...

Re: Looking for performance numbers for intake swap

I am not looking for RPM so I agree the 193's are fine for how I drive. There are lots of things I could do if money were available. I won't debate that for sure. I actually built a wish list a while...

Looking for performance numbers for intake swap

Hi all, I will try to keep my question short.

I swapped in a 1990 police 5.7 with the matching TBI. It run fine, but isn't as big a performance boost from my built 305 as I hoped. I have been...

Re: Vacuum lock-up switch GM PN 14014519

Last week I received a time delay relay from amazon along with an ABS box for it. I wired it through my vacuum switch and adjusted the delay circuit for 5 seconds. Works perfectly. No more torque...

Re: Vacuum lock-up switch GM PN 14014519

Good finds! the 214-479 is a vacuum delay valve. While looking for it I found a reference to the switch for a different trans that is still available and might work. I don't know what the set point...

200+ HP Help

Yep, I know. I had thought long and hard about that. I put a list together of what it would take and came up with nearly $1,200 when complete. That much for an additional 50ish HP gain. I will think...
