My point was it's not going to give him anymore power unless you can open both sides. On a stock engine it will be very little if any.

It shouldn't affect the smell on a car with cats. When I ran racing gas I would smell it for a month after the fuel was gone.

You can get the 91 and 92 rear cables at any parts store. The problem is getting the front cable from the lever because no one makes them. In 91 and 92 it's shorter so only that one will work.
