Unfortunately my fuel gauge stays always at 99% all the time and with the tank almost empty. The strange thing is that the stock one is working fine...

I bought a green one for my 1982 crossfire trans am but I have problems with it. The fuel gauge always stays at 99% and the speedo while I'm driving goes to 0 miles and then starts again or speed's...

Is it possible to have a map or a coolant sensor problem without a check engine code?
Someone told me to check also the injector/jets. What is your opinion?

I spoke with my mechanic and he told me that he removed the door without taking off the fender and bumber but it was very difficult and time
consuming.

In my case (1982 Pontiac Trans am) we had to remove the front fender and bumber because the heads of the upper hinge bolts were not accessible from the kick panel.

I have the 1982 Pontiac Trans am service manual and at the page (6E2-77) you can see how you can adjust the TPS.
The only thing that I can not understand is Line #2 "Remove the EGR valve and heat...

13 oxygen sensor

21 tps hight (throttle position sensor)

43 Knock ESC
